Esther R. Cunningham, 79, of Delphi, died at 11:11 a.m. on Dec. 16, 2003, at her residence.
  Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 25, 1924, she was the daughter of Henry F. and Amanda Hoerr Beeke.
  She was a 1942 graduate of Delphi High School.
  She retired in 1989 from the Carroll County Office of Family and Children after 21 years of service.  She had worked at Hanna and Hanna Law Office for several years.
  Mrs. Cunningham was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and was a Beta Associate of Kappa Kappa , Kappa, where she was a past president and treasurer.  She was a member of Delphi American Legion Auxiliary and was active in several bowling leagues and bridge clubs in Delphi.
  She enjoyed playing the piano and organ.
  Surviving are her children, David R. Cunningham, Diane S. Kelly, Deborah K. Stevens, and Karen R. Sisson, all of Delphi; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by two brothers.
  Services were Dec. 19 at Davidson Funeral Home, with burial at Masonic Cemetery, Delphi.
  Memorials may be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.
