Jack Clifford

  John E. (Jack) Clifford, 50, of 17450 Redvere Drive, Brookfield, Wis., died Sunday morning in a hospital there where he had been a surgical patient for a week.
  Born May 4, 1924, in Delphi, he was the son of James and Helen McKay Clifford.  A graduate of Delphi High School, he was plant engineering manager for A.O. Smith Corp.  His marriage was to Phyllis Logan of Lafayette.
  Surviving with the widow are four children, Jeffrey, Michael L. and Patrice Ann, all at home, and Kenneth J. of Milwaukee; his father, of Delphi; one brother, Maurice of Delphi, and five sisters, Helen Bernard and Joan Clifford of California, Marjoie Clifford of Delphi, Dorothy Lidester of Lafayette and Mary Christy of Indianapolis.
  A brother, Richard, preceded him in death.
  Services were this morning (Wednesday) in St. Dominic's Catholic Church there where he was a member.
  The body will be returned to Delphi where friends may call Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  Graveside rites will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Delphi.
