Jack M. Johns


  Services will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Delphi First Presbyterian Church for Jack M. Johns, 61, of Delphi who died Monday, Aug. 12, 1985, at 6:45 p.m. at his residence.
  Born March 31, 1924, in Yeoman, his parents were Floyd M. and Rose McCain Johns.  His marriage was May 24, 1952, in Lafayette to Chrystal Ann Klemme.  She survives.
  Johns was actively employed with his father in John's Liquor Store until 1959.  Then he accepted a position as a liquor salesman with Vigo Liquor Distributors of Terre Haute.  He retired in May this year.
  A 1942 Delphi High School graduate and a graduate of Lafayette Business College, he was a World War II veteran where he served in the Army.  He was recipient of the Victory Medal.
  Memberships include Delphi First Presbyterian Church, Elks Lodge 143, Lafayette; Eagles Boone Aerie Lodge 2062 and Moose Lodge 1269, Lebanon; IOOF No. 28, American Legion Post No. 75, Carroll County Country Club.
  Surviving with the wife are a daughter, Elisa Rosann, at home; his mother, Delphi; a brother, Floyd Johns Jr., Rt. 1, Delphi.  A sister preceded in death.
  Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. today at Horn Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service in the church.  Rev. Ellis Gasser and Rev. James Rankin will officiate.  Burial with military rites will be in IOOF Memorial Gardens, Pittsburg.
