K. Jerome Parker

The Rev. K. Jerome Parker, 41, of 968 S. Williams Road, Frankfort, formerly of Delphi, died unexpectedly of a heart attack in his home at 1 p.m. last Thursday. Born July 29, 1924 at Walkerton, he was the son of Reverend and Mrs. Harry Parker. His father served the Presbyterian Church at Delphi for several years. He was married to Blanche Glover. He moved to Frankfort from Jasper seven years ago and was social science teacher in Lebanon High School. He was graduated in 1942 from Delphi High School, received the B. A. degree from Hanover College, bachelor of divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, and masters degree from Purdue University. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Dayton Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Loyal Order of Moose, and Lambda Chi Alpha social fraternity, the Presbytery of Crawfordsville of the United Presbyterian Church and the Indiana State Teachers Association. Surviving with the widow are his mother, Mrs. Grace Parker of Dayton, and a sister, Mrs. Emily Rose of Rome, Ga. Funeral services were Saturday afternoon at the Hartman Funeral Home in Frankfort with the Rev. Richard M. Craig of Dayton officiating. Interment was in Green Lawn Memorial Park at Frankfort.
