Dale Craig

  Dale A. Craig, 62, of Rt. 2, Delphi, died at 2:55 p.m. April 5, 1992, at his residence after an 18-month illness.  He had ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
  Born June 11, 1929, in Carroll County, he was the son of Russell E. and Cecelia Gant Craig.  His marriage was on March 27, 1949, in Oxford, to Della C. Herr, who survives.
  He was a 1947 graduate of Delphi High School.
  He farmed in Carroll County all his life and was an avid fisherman.
  He was a member of the Delphi United Methodist Church.
  Also surviving are one son, Jeff A. Craig, and one daughter, Caryn C. Noonkester, both of Delphi; a sister, Phyllis Steinman of Oakwood, Ill., a brother, Morris Craig of Marion, Ohio; two grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.  One brother preceded him in death.
  Services were today at Horn Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Pettys and Rev. Don Ashley officiating.  Burial was in IOOF Memorial Gardens, Delphi.
  Memorials may be made to the ALS Foundation or the Delphi United Methodist Church.
