James Dickinson

James Albert Dickinson, 69, of Mooresville, died Aug. 20, 1998, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
   Born Jan. 28, 1929, in Delphi, he was the son of Lester Dale and Irene Josephine Bougher Dickinson.  He married Ellen Batten on Feb. 8, 1953, and she survives.
   He owned and operated Dickinson Printing from its founding in 1971 to the time he sold the business in 1986.  Prior to that he was the data processing manager for the Auditor of the State of Indiana from 1965 to 1971.
   Mr. Dickinson was a first lieutenant with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
   Also surviving are one son, Robert J. Dickinson of Indianapolis; three daughters, Debra D. Gregory of Louisville, Colo., Lisa D. Larence of Carmel, and Sandra L. Miller of Indianapolis; and six grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two brothers.
   Services and burial were Saturday in Mooresville.
