George Lohrman

 George A. Lohrman, 74, Kokomo, died at 1:25 a.m. on June 18, 2003, at his residence.
  Born in Carroll County on Jan. 29, 1929, he was the son of John L. and Lydia E. Gangwer Lohrman.  He was a 1947 graduate of Delphi High School.
  He married Anna M. Reynolds on Dec. 3, 1954, in Sharpsville, and she survives.
  He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1953.
  Mr. Lohrman retired from Delco Electronics in 1982 after 36 years as a foreman.  He was also a farmer and had farmed ince 1959.
  He was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church in Hemlock where he served as deacon.  Sunday school teacher, Sunday school superintendent and trustee.
  Mr. Lohrman collected old tractors and antiques and enjoyed collecting Indiana artifacts.  He was a woodcutter and enjoyed reading.
  Surviving with his wife are two sons, Martin Lohrman of Togo, West Africa, and Loren Lohrman of Weslaco, Texas; a daughter, Teresa Simpson of Greentown; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister.
