Wayne L. Myers, 80, died Dec. 29, 2008, at Clarian Arnett Hospital after a ten-year battle with cancer.
  Among the survivors is a son, Michael W. Myers; a brother, William Myers; and a sister, Mary Crary, all of Delphi.
  Services were held Jan. 3 in Lafayette.

He was born in Deer Creek to the late Homer A. and Ladema Chapman Myers. On July 25, 1962, he married Juanita K. Burtner Hoggard in Frankfort, Indiana. She survives.

He served in the National Guard.
