Richard P. Smith, 90, of Mason, OH, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020. Beloved father of three children. He is also survived by one sister; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Richard was born in Delphi, IN. The Navy took him to Rhode Island, where he met Martha Eddy, his wife of 50 years, who preceded him in death in 2004. Richard was a veteran of the Korean War and had the great pleasure to participate in an Honor Flight to Washington DC several years ago.

Richard was a talented saxophone player who loved making music with numerous big band organizations in the Cincinnati area, including the Maple Knoll Band and the Monday Night Big Band. Richard worked in market research for the Dow Chemical company for 40 years.

Funeral services for Richard P. Smith were held privately. Final resting place was in Rest Haven Cemetery in Evendale, OH.
