Elda May Brookshire Miller, 92, of Carmel, Indiana passed away on July 2, 2022.

She was born on May 11, 1930, in Delphi, Indiana to William and Emma Brookshire. She graduated from Delphi High School in 1949 and married Bobbie Miller on June 25,1949. She was an excellent homemaker and stay-at-home mom. She deeply loved her family and served everyone sacrificially.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting, and was a talented painter of landscapes and still life pictures. She and her husband spent many winters in Florida or Arizona in their Airstream during their retirement years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings.

A graveside service will take place on Thursday, July 7th at 11 a.m. (Illinois time) at Jones Cemetery in Flat Rock, IL.
