Bob Myers

Robert L. Myers, 59, of Rt. 2, Logansport, died at 7:17 p.m. June 11, 1990, in Memorial Hospital, Logansport.
  Born May 6, 1931, in Lafayette, he was the son of Homer A. and Lodemia Chapman Myers.  His marriage was on May 29, 1963, at Fort Benning, Ga., to Jane A. McGrew, who survives.
  A farmer, Myers was employed as a rural mail carrier by the Delphi Post Office.
  He graduated from Delphi High School in 1949.  He was a retired Army Reserves Colonel and a member of the Clymers United Methodist Church.
  He had been a leader for Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts.
  Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Debra Messick of Delphi and Becky Myers of Terre Haute; two sons, Robert B. Myers of Delphi and Neil A. Myers, at home; four sisters, Donna Ward of Phoenix, Md., Jean Riley of South Bend, Mary Crary of Delphi, and Connie Hathaway of Lafayette; and four grandchildren.
  Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport, with the Rev. Alex Stone officiating.  Burial will be in Clymers Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
  Memorials may be made to the Clymer's United Methodist Church or to Boy Scout Troop 202.
