82, passed peacefully on April 3rd, 2014, at 7:20AM in Apache Junction, AZ.

She was born on December 13th, 1931, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to loving parents William and Alice Stoner.

Joan leaves a sister Joyce (Roger) Adams, Mesa, AZ, brothers Bill (Phyllis) Stoner, Jacksonville, IL, and Gene (Carolyn) Stoner, Monticello, IL, her sons Bret, Scottsdale, AZ, and Bart, Apache Junction, AZ, and her daughter Belinda, Apache Junction, AZ, her three grandsons, one granddaughter, one great grandson, and many nieces and nephews.

Her mother, father, one sister, and husband preceded her in death.

Joan was a good and faithful servant who touched the lives of people all over the world, she ministered Jesus Christ and the message of salvation with a relentless boldness, she often prayed for people wherever she went, even when her afflictions were far greater than those she prayed for.

Joan was a lifelong student and teacher in all forms of dance, this passion ran second to her love for Jesus Christ, and for all of her family and friends, Joan achieved the status of Dancing Masters by the Chicago National Association of Dancing Masters, to all who knew her she was the Grandmaster of dance.

Visitation is at 11:00AM, Saturday, April 12th, 2014, at Green Acres Family Room, 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. Funeral Service will follow at Noon at Green Acres Chapel of Light.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to Scottsdale Healthcare Foundation Cancer Research, in the name of Joan Boyer sister of Joyce Adams, at 10001 N. 92nd Street, Suite 121, Scottsdale, AZ 85258, all donation amounts are greatly appreciated.
