Ruby Hathaway (Kempf)

Ruby M. (Hathaway)Kempf was born at Delphi, IN. April 15, 1934 to Earl W. and Hazel M. McClellan Hathaway. She graduated Delphi High School 1952. She married Thomas W. Kempf February 28, 1954 at Delphi Baptist Church, he survives.

She was a member of East Side Baptist Church of Crawfordsville. Her employment included SACO of Flora, IN., Kresges, Loebs, and State Farm Insurance in Lafayette. She had also worked at Loebs and East Side Baptist Church in Crawfordsville retiring in 1998.

She is survived by daughters Susan (Dave) Atkisson, Kokomo, IN; Dawn (Joe) Heiston, Linden; Sons Jerel (Cec) of Crawfordsville and Joel (Charmaine) of Ft. Carson, CO;
Grandchildren include Nathan Rawley, Eric (Amanda) Dupay, and Keith Dupay all of Kokomo, Nina Locklin, Chris Locklin and Allyson Kempf all of Ft. Carson, Colorado; Courtney Kempf of Crawfordsville, Drew Johnson, Mitchell Johnson, Aaron Hieston, Morgan Hieston and Madelynn Hieston all of Linden. Great-Grandchildren include Mavric Collier and Easton Dupay in Kokomo.
She is also survived by sisters Nellie Peters, Camden, IN; Lucille Giesler, Burnettsville, IN; Jessie Allen, Franklin, IN; Edna (Rodger) Capper, Monticello, IN

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 1:00pm at East Side Baptist Church, 2000 Traction Rd. Crawfordsville, with the Rev. James Rivers officiating. Friends may call 4-8 pm in the church on Tuesday.
Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery North.
