Richard D. Quinn, 62, Morton, III., died at 7:34 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill. Born Aug. 5, 1934, in Delphi, he was the son of Troy and Georgia Loy Quinn. He was married Sept. 22, 1962, in Hobart, to Nancy A. Cochran, who survives. A graduate of Delphi High School, he also graduated in 1956 from Purdue. University and was employed for 30 years at Caterpillar. He retired in 1995 as a senior staff engineer, He was a member of several archaeological societies in the Midwest. Also surviving are a son and daughter, Jerry A. Quinn and Dawn Smith, both of Morton; two brothers, Robert Quinn of Delphi, and Gerald Quinn of Springfield, Ohio; and three grandchildren. Services were Monday in Morton, with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
