Kathleen Rozhon (Morgan)

She was a 1955 graduate of St. Vincent Nursing School, where she was the center for the basketball team. Her occupation as a registered nurse in psychiatrics and geriatrics spanned over 50 years. For the past eight years, she was employed at Logansport State Hospital. Mrs. Morgan served in the Air Force in Vietnam from 1960 to 1963. She was a member of American Legion Post 75 where she was a past sergeant at arms. She attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She took part in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. She enjoyed playing slot machines, collecting Beanie Babies, and reading. Surviving are three daughters, Belinda S. Morgan of Chicago, Ill., Colleen M. Morgan of Champaign, Ill., and Theresa S. Morgan of Lafayette; a son, Richard T. Morgan of Delphi; and four stepdaughters, Carol T. Juriga of Homosassa Springs, Fla., Sandra L. Clark of Logansport, Patricia A. Hillman of Delphi, and Marilyn McKinney of Lafayette; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Hippensteel Funeral Home, Lafayette, where a Rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father David Douglas officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
