Charles Wilcox

 Charles R. "Chuck" Wilcox, 66, of Lafayette, died unexpectedly at 4:45 a.m. Aug. 25, 2001, at his residence.
  Born Oct. 2, 1934, in Battle Ground, he was a 1952 Delphi High School graduate and was a life resident of the Delphi and Lafayette areas.
  For nine years, he was a compliance officer for Wabash Valley Transportation, a division of Schilli Transportation Services Inc.  Previously, he worked in data processing at Lafayette National, INB, and NBD banks, was a night manager for Pay Less Super Markets, and worked 17 years at Alcoa Inc.
  On Jan. 12, 1980, he married Judith A. Cullum in Lafayette, and she survives.
  Mr. Wilcox was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Lafayette, where he had served as trustee and deacon, Masonic Lodge 313 of Battle Ground where he was treasurer, Transitville Masonic Lodge 425 of Buck Creek, and Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis.
  He was an eight-time worthy patron of Buck Creek Chapter 374 Order of Eastern Star, and was a past worthy patron of Dayton Chapter 233 OES.
  Also surviving are three sons, Scott Wilcox and Craig Wilcox, both of Lafayette and Shane Anthony of Villa Rica., Ga.; two daughters, Pamela Black of Lafayette and Nicole Kloeblen of Stockbridge, Ga.; two brothers, Bill Wilcox and Gene Wilcox, both of Lafayette; two sisters, Mary Schnepp of Lafayette and Martha Steinman of Carlsbad, Calif. and 13 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
  Services were Tuesday in Lafayette with burial in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.
