Claude Clawson

  Claude Dean Clawson, 44, of Rt. 2, Delphi, died at 1:45 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 1979, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.
  He had been in ill health five and a half years.
  Born May 22, 1935, he was the son of Glae and Lela Nelson Clawson  He was married Sept. 3, 1953, to Rosie Burge, who survives.
  He had been employed for 17 years at Globe Valve Co. in Delphi and was a committeeman for the United Auto Workers Local 914.
  Surviving with the wife and parents are three daughters, Crystal Bowman of Rt. 2, Delphi, and Lynn and Deborah Clawson of Rt. 2, Delphi; two sons, Michael Clawson of Rt. 2, Flora, and Jeff Clawson of Rt. 2, Delphi; and three brothers, James Clawson of Port Angeles, Wash.; Gene Clawson of Rt. 2, Delphi, and Wayne Clawson of Grissom AFB.
  An infant son preceded him in death.
  Services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Ashley officiating.  Burial was in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.
  Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Foundation.
