Gale Longshore - Class Of 1953

Gale Louise Longshore, 81, of Canon City, passed away December 13, 2016. She was born April 23, 1935 to Merwin and Dorothula (Downham) Longshore in Marian, IN. Gale and her family moved to Cripple Creek in the 60’s and lived there until 1984 when they moved to Canon City. Gale quickly became involved in both communities. In Cripple Creek, she and husband Gabe along with business partners, Mike and Dottie Hendricks owned and operated the Cripple Creek Inn from 1970-74. In Canon City most people will remember her from working as a real estate agent for Ed Herzog Real Estate. After her retirement she spent her time taking care of her family. She is survived by her children; James (Nancy) Ragan, Katrina Leger, Belle (Richard) Gosnell, Foster (Brenda) Scott; siblings, Doris (Ralph) Joslyn, James (Kate) Longshore; ex-husband, Dennis Glowienka; grandchildren, Jeremiah Ragan, Kayla Scott, Gabe Scott, Elijah Scott, Keenan (Laura) Leger, Trevers Leger, Brielle Perry, Natisha Wardyak, Jon (Samantha) Hill, Abbigale Boh, Maria (Rob) Gochis, Kimberly Davis and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Arlene; husbands, Harold Ragan and Gabriel Scott and grandchildren, Shannondoah Ragan and Joshua Ragan. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 10:00a.m., at Harwood Chapel, 516 N. 10th Street, Canon City, CO.
