Barbara J. Sell, 83, of Delphi passed away on July 3, 2018 at her home, surrounded by family. Barbara was born in Anderson, Indiana on Feb. 26, 1935 to the late Virgil “Jim” and Sara (Baker) McFatridge. She was a 1953 graduate of Delphi High School.

She married Glen W. Sell on Oct. 16, 1955 at the Burrows Presbyterian Church and he survives.

She retired after 11 years as a Chapter 1 reading aid and cook for Camden Elementary.

She was a member of the Burrows Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School and former member of the Aim High & Liberty Bells Home Ec clubs.

She enjoyed knitting, quilting, sewing, coloring and reading fiction.

Along with her husband, Glen, she is survived by her daughters: Cindy Sell of Lafayette and Cheryl Kurihara of Delphi; grandson, Rigel Hahn (Kaitlyn) of Paoli; sister, Carol Dziacko of Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded by her brother-in-law, Stan Dziacko.

Visitation will be held at Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 9:30 until the 11:30 a.m. funeral service. Pastor Ed Selvidge officiating. Burial will follow in Camden Cemetery, Camden.
