Biographical Information: George retired from many years as an employee of the old RCA Factory of Monticello, Indiana, Purdue University of West Lafayette, Indiana, and the White County Courthouse of Monticello, Indiana, where he made a friend with everyone he met. After retiring, George spent his time as a volunteer Crossing Guard where you would find him waving at passerby’s and crossing his “kids” safely across US Highway 24 in Monticello, Indiana. In his free time, George loved spending time with his grandchildren as well as playing dart-ball and fellowshipping with various churches in the area. George was a dedicated church member of the former Calvary Baptist Church of Monticello, Indiana, and was a current member of the Sitka Baptist of rural Monticello (Sitka), Indiana, which he loved deeply. He was an AVID Chicago Cubs Baseball fan all his life and he was happy and excited when they won the World Series.
 
 
Marriage Information: On August 6, 1954, in Delphi, Indiana, he married Evelyn Eileen Wamsler; she passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017. They had been married for sixty - two years.

Teresa (husband Russell) Lanham of Monticello, Indiana, and
Trina (husband Steven) Nevitt of Monticello, Indiana;

Nine (9) Grandchildren;

Nine (9) Great Grandchildren;

Barbara "Barb" Widner of Wabash, Indiana;

Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
