Mildred "Millie" Louise Hahn, 89, of Lafayette, IN, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

She was born on August 15, 1935 in Delphi, IN to the late William E. and Hester (Welker) Hughes. Millie graduated from Delphi High School in 1953.

On June 4, 1955, she married Francis Joseph Hahn at St. Ann Church. He preceded her in death on November 3, 2001.

Mildred worked as a seamstress for Five Point Bargains for over 30 years. She had previously worked for Bryant's Manufacturing and as a nurses aide for St. Elizabeth Hospital. Millie enjoyed crocheting, playing Bingo, working puzzles, and baking.

Surviving are her children, Brian (Shirley) Hahn of Bringhurst, IN, Brenda Powell of Lafayette, and Bruce (Margie) Hahn of Clarks Hill, IN; her grandchildren, Byron & Denton Hahn, Emily Gingerich, Kara Hahn, and Laura & Sarah Powell; and her great grandchildren, Reggie, Anthony, Brenton, Dixie, Georgia, Sawyer, and Hazel Belle.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Hughes, Eugene Hughes, and Donald Hughes and her sister, Betty Jo Shockley.

Services were held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 with entombment in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
