James Kenworthy - Class Of 1932

  James E. "Buss" Kenworthy, 89, of Delphi, died at 12 p.m. on Feb. 8, 2003, in St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center, Delphi.
  Born in Delphi on Feb. 7, 1914, he was the son of James and Alice Richard Kenworthy.  He was a 1932 graduate of Delphi High School.
  He married Dorothea L. Lockman in Brookston, on April 14, 1940, and she died June 20, 1992.
  Mr. Kenworthy owned Kenworthy Grocery from 1940 until his retirement in 1983.  He was also a former rural carrier for the Delphi Post Office, retiring in 1987.
  He was a member of the former Pittsburg Church of the Brethren, and enjoyed traveling and bowling.
  Surviving is a son, Robert Kenworthy of Delphi; a brother, Vernon Kenworthy of Delphi; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
  He was preceded in death by a sister.
  Services are today (Wednesday), at 10 a.m. at Davidson Funeral Home.  Pastor Andy Paris will officiate.  Burial will be at IOOF Memorial Gardens in Delphi.
