Claude Wise - Class Of 1934

Claude M. Wise, 81, of 2922 E 300 N, Camden, died at 7:13 p.m. July 31, 1997, in Home Hospital, Lafayette.
  He was born Oct. 21, 1915, in Delphi to Andrew and Belva Krathwohl Wise.  He married Margaret Teel in 1941.  She died in 1962.  On March 9, 1963, he married Helen King in Wayne, Mich., she survives.
  He was a 1934 graduate of Delphi High School and a 1938 graduate of DePauw University, Greencastle.
  He retired in 1972 from Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn, Mich., where he was a systems analyst.  He also worked for Essex in Logansport from 1975 to 1976.
  Wise was a member of the Lower Deer Creek Church of the Brethren.
  Also surviving are one son, Norman Wise, DeWitt, Mich.; three daughters, Mary Margaret Rokita, Howell, Mich., Beverly Coffing, Peachtree City, Ga., and Elaine Chadwick, Sparta, Ga.; two step sons, Byron and Jay Baldwin; both of San Diego, Calif.; four step daughters, Helen Ruth Edwards, Milan, Mich., Betty Flint, Bloomer, Wis., Barbara Pullans, Portage Mich., and Jackie Marsh, Appleton, Wis.; two sisters, Joan Scott, Burrows and Clarice Cushing, Tipton; 36 grandchildren; and 55 great-grandchildren.
  One daughter and two brothers preceded him in death.
  Services were Sunday in Cree Funeral Home, Camden.  Burial was in Westfield, Mich.
