Harold H. Brewer, 64, of Delphi, died at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 1979, at Fort Myers, Fla., Community Hospital. He had been in ill health two years. Born Aug. 3, 1914, in Delphi, he was the son of Harry J. and Laura Thompson Brewer. He was married May 19, 1935, in Delphi, to Mabel M. Ashba, who survives. Brewer was a retired machinist at Purdue University and operated the Sundae Castle in Delphi until 1974. He was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Delphi. Surviving with the wife are one son, Jack Brewer, of Lafayette; one daughter, Janice Girton of Rt. 2, Delphi; one sister, Lucille Miller of Daytona Beach, Fla., and three grandchildren. Services were today, Wednesday, at Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Golish and Rev. Toby Rendleman officiating. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery Delphi.
