Mrs. Mary L. Holst, 68, formerly of 637 1/2 Ferry St., Lafayette, died Fri., April 2, 1982, in Home Hospital after an extended illness.
  Born in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Roy S. and Timoxenia Thompson Erb.  She was a 1933 graduate of Delphi High School.  She had lived at Lafayette for several years and worked as a beautician from 1953 until 1976.  In 1939 she was married at Delphi to Elmer Holst.
  Surviving with the husband are two sons, Wayne and Ward Holst, both of Lafayette; two sisters, Loda Martin of Rt. 1, Camden, and Thelma McCoy of Lafayette, and three grandchildren.
  Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
  Services were Tuesday at Lafayette with interment in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
