Ralph Sines

Ralph K. Sines, 81, of Rt. 4, Delphi, died at 8:15 a.m. Jan. 12, 1996, in St. Elizabeth Hospital where he had been a patient since Dec. 30.
  Born July 19, 1914, in Carroll County, he was the son of Earl and Ocea Kirkpatrick Sines.  He married Thelma Galloway in Delphi and she preceded him in death in 1972.
  A 1933 graduate of Delphi High School, he is a retired Carroll County farmer.  He also worked more than 25 years at the Aluminum Company of America (Alcoa) in Lafayette, retiring in 1974.
  He was a member of Carroll County Farm Bureau and Alcoa 25-year Club, and attended First Assembly of God in Lafayette.
  Surviving are two daughters, Jolene Meade of West Lafayette and Vicki Clawson of Lafayette; a son, Lee E. Sines of Frankfort; one brother, Nelson Sines of Rt. 4, Delphi; four sisters, Jane Wray, Mary Katherine Kerker, Mildred Waymire, and Freda Goslee all of Delphi; seven grandchildren; five step grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother, and one grandson.
  Services were Monday at Horn Funeral Home with Rev. James Morin officiating. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery, Delphi.
