Helen Jackson (Hoover) - Class Of 1934

Mrs. Helen V. Hoover. 73, a resident of Tioga Pines Living Center, Monticello, and formerly of Delphi, departed this life at 11:13 a.m. on Wednes day. February 27,1991, at White County Memorial Hospital, Monticello, where she had been admitted that morning. Born January 13, 1916, in Pittsburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Albert Jackson and Eva Parker. On. July 29, 1933, she was married In Delphi to Arthur R. Hoover, and he survives. A resident of the Miami county area for many years, Mrs. Hoover worked at Chase Manor Nursing Home in Logansport as a dietic aide for IO years, and had also worked as a clerk In Hooks Drug Store, Logansport, and at Olin-Mathison Chemical Corporation near Mexico, Indiana. Mrs. Hoover had attended Delphi High School, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Delphi. Surviving with her husband, Arthur, are two daughters, Carol Virginia Ogle of Denver, Indiana, and Rosemary Ringer of Monticello; three sons, Tom Hoover of Greencastle; Raymond Rex Hoover of Lafayette, and Larry Hoover of Lafayette; 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by one daughter, Martha K. Leslie, in 1939. Services for Mrs. Helen V. Hoover were held on Saturday, March 2, 1991, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Delphi. Father Donald Hardebeck officiating. Burial was In St. Joseph Cemetery, Delphi. Horn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
