Argust Sheets - Class Of 1934

Argust L. Sheets, 69, 304 Armory Road, Delphi, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 14, 1985, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.  He had been a patient one day.
  He was born April 2, 1916, in Carroll County, and had spent all his life here.
  Mr. Sheets was a member of Radnor United Methodist Church, and played on the dartball team at the church.  He was employed at Globe Valve in Delphi 36 1/2 years, retiringin 1982.  He formerly worked at Alcoa in Lafayette for five years.
  He was married May 11, 1940, to Juanita Fetterhoff in Delphi, and she survives.
  Surviving with the wife are three daughter, Mrs. Don (Joyce) Bolinger of Lafayette, Mrs. Steve (Marlene) Breit, of Woodburn, Ind., and Mrs. Mike (Cheryl) Lear, of Delphi; three brothers, Raymond and Bob Sheets, both of Flora, and Don Sheets, of Lafayette; three sister, Sehen Shaffer, Lafayette, Dean Sigman, Montmorenci, and Eva McLaughlin, Monticello.  Also surviving are seven grandchildren.  One brother preceded in death.
  Services were held Saturday in the Radnor United Methodist Church.  Burial was in Zion Cemetery.  Horn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
