Orville Cassman, 93, of Lafayette, died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Rosewalk Village.

He was born Feb. 6, 1917 in Lake Cicott to the late John and Carrie Vanatta Cassman. On Feb. 23, 1941, he married Marie Huff in Wilmington, Il. She died Aug. 8, 1997.

Surviving are a grandson, Martin Devore (wife: Connie) of Frankfort; a granddaughter, Tina Watson (husband: Max) of Zionsville; a son-in-law, Ron Devore of Kirklin and 10 great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Judy Devore, and a brother, Charles Cassman, also preceded him in death.
