Francis "Mike” Morrow, 84, of Delphi, died at 5 p.m. Aug. 14, 2002, at St, Elizabeth Healthcare Center, Delphi. Born May 28, 1918, in Delphi, he was the son of Frank W. and Elizabeth Brooke Morrow. He was a 1935 graduate of Delphi High School. Mr. Morrow was the retired owner of Morrow Shoe Shop in Delphi. He was an Army veteran of World War II, with the rank of staff sergeant. He served from Aug. 12, 1941, until 1946. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delphi and the Delphi American Legion. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Surviving are two sisters, Josephine White of Lafayette and Bethel Baird of Shippensburg. Pa.; and one brother. Robert Morrow of Delphi. He was preceded in death by three sisters. A funeral mass was held Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Peter Vanderkolk officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery. Davidson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the St. Elizabeth Healthcare Activities Fund or the American Parkinson Disease Association.
