Ida C. Ray (Sheets)

  C. Ida Sheets, 66, of Flora, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 1984, at 6:20 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Hospital where she had been a patient for 10 days.  She had been ill for three and one-half years.
  Born Sept. 11, 1917, in Clinton County, she was the daughter of Vinton and Pearl Sneathen Ray.  In 1948, she married Robert C. Sheets, who survives.
  A 1935 graduate of Delphi High School, she was employed at the Bryan Mfg. Co. of Monticello until retiring in 1979.  She was a member of the Monticello Moose Lodge Auxiliary, Delphi American Legion Auxiliary and Delphi VFW Auxiliary.
  Also, surviving are two sons, Glen R. Pitzer, Jeffersonville, and Jerry L. Pitzer, Bellefontaine, Ohio; three sisters, Vera Wert, Monticello, Ruby Mull, Flora; and Betty Carr, Idaville; one brother, Vinton Ray, Jr., Monticello; and five grandchildren.
  Services were Tuesday at Baker Funeral Home with the Rev. Randall Boys officiating.  Burial was in Delphi IOOF Cemetery.
