Wanda Marie Bailes, 79, of Palm Springs died June 24, 1997, at home.
She was born Dec. 2, 1917, to Bessie Balser and Otis Airhart in Goshen, Ind. She married John Rewcastle Bailes on April 23, 1937, in Anderson,
Ind. She was a secretary for more 25 years at Job's Daughters and a brownie leader Survivors include her husband, John Bailes of Palm Springs; two daughters, Janice Coykendall of Seattle and Cindy Antrim of Escondido; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
