James (Squack) Baum, 65, a former Carroll County resident, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 1983 at Lake Worth, Fla.
  He was born and reared in Yeoman and was a 1936 graduate of Delphi High School.
  Survivors include his wife, Dorothy and two daughters Viola Burks, Ponce City, Okla., and Saundra, at home, and two grandchildren.
  Other survivors include Mrs. Virgil (Maxine) Hughes, Monticello; Mrs. Al (Rebecca) Holcomb, Charleston, W.V., and Marijane Ford of Chicago, Ill.
  Two brothers preceded him in death.
  Funeral services were at Lake Worth with interment in a cemetery there.
