Kenneth R. Black

Kenneth R. Black, 81, of 1508 N.E. Turner Ave., Arcadia, Fla., died at 9:40 a.m. Sept. 4, 1997, in DeSoto Memorial Hospital, Arcadia.
  Born Aug. 20, 1916, in Carroll County, he was the son of Charles G. and Charlotte Thomas Black.  His marriage was to Mildred Rider, who survives.
  A 1936 graduate of Delphi High School, Black was a retired farmer.  He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose No. 1327 and Eagles Club, both in Arcadia.
  Surviving are a son, Kenneth Wade Black of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Bonnie Black of Arcadia, Fla.; a sister, Olive Todd of Texas; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.  A son, a daughter, six sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
  Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Reinke Funeral Home, Flora.
  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
