Raymond High, Jr.

Raymond High Jr. of 2310 South Webster, Kokomo, passed away Sunday morning at his residence. His death was attributed to an apparent heart attack. He was married to Ruth Sanderson in 1941 and moved to Kokomo from Delphi 9 years ago. He was employed in the Installation and Service, Department at Tenbrook Sales and Service in Kokomo. High was the son of Raymond Proctor High Sr., and the former Myrtle Edith McGuire. He was 49 years old and was born in Carroll County on January 11, 1919. Surviving with the wife are two sons, Daniel High of Edge Wood Arsenal, Maryland, and Thomas High at Indiana University in Bloomington. Other survivors are: Robert Earl High, a brother of Delphi and Mrs. Myrtle High, his mother, also of Delphi and several nieces and nephews. His father preceded him in death. He was a member of the Main Street Methodist Church in Kokomo and served in the Navy. Services were held Wednesday in Kokomo, internment followed at Sunset Memory Gardens in Kokomo.
