Frank W. Lamb, Jr.

  Frank W. Lamb, Jr., 52, of South Bend died unexpectedly of a heart attack in St. Joseph Hospital there Tuesday morning.
  Born January 6, 1917 at Battle Ground, he was the son of Frank and Blanche Patterson Lamb.  His marriage was to Mary Alice Cripe.  He was graduated from Delphi High School.  He was an insurance adjustor at South Bend.
  Mr. Lamb was a veteran of World War II, former commander of National Guards at Delphi and a member of the Guards for 28 years and a former Chief of Police at Delphi.
  He was a member of the American Legion Post and Masonic Lodge, both at Delphi, and Scottish Rite and United Methodist Church both at South Bend.
  Surviving with the widow are a daughter, Sharon Lamb of South Bend; two brothers, Everett of West Point and George of Lafayette; two sisters, Miss Nellie Mae Lamb of Lafayette and Mrs. Esther Brehmer of Morganfield, Ky.
  Military services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Jackson Funeral Home in Delphi and interment will be in Masonic Cemetery.
  Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where Masonic services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
  The family requests that donations be made to the heart fund in lieu of flowers.
