George Allbaugh - Class Of 1937

 George Allbaugh, 82, of Flora, died March 5, 2001, at Lafayette Home Hospital following a 13-year illness.
  Born Aug. 20, 1918, in Carroll County, he was the son of Fred D. and Queen Allen Allbaugh.  He married Dorothy Davis on March 21, 1942, in Mineral Wells, Texas.  She survives.
  A 1937 graduate of Delphi High School.
  Mr. Allbaugh served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946.  He retired in 1978, after 38 years service with Alcoa.  He was a member of Flora First Brethren Church.
  Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Judy Roberson, of Cutler; four sisters, Frieda Eller, Lois Maxwell and June Clem, all of Flora, and Carmen Wise of Lafayette; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
  Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, with Rev. Scott Meadows and Rev. Alvin Grumbling officiating.  Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be this evening, Wednesday, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
