Mary Margaret Schreiner (Moyer) - Class Of 1937

  Mary Margaret Moyer, 69, of Rt. 2, Star City, formerly of Delphi, died at 3:29 p.m. Sept. 9, 1987 in Pulaski County Memorial Hospital in Winamac.
  She was born April 20, 1918 in Lafayette.  Her parents were Bert and Nora Schriner.  She was reared in Delphi and graduated from Delphi High School.  She was a 1937 graduate of Indiana State University.
  Her marriage was June 18, 1944 in Delphi to Stanley Moyer, who survives.
  A retired home economics teacher, she had taught at Delphi, Eastern Pulaski Community Schools, Star City, North Judson, Kewanna and Leiters Ford schools.  She had resided in Star City for 43 years, and retired from teaching in 1981.
  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winamac, Winamac Order of Eastern Star, DAR, Colonial Dames, and Palestine to America.
  She also was a past president of her local Delta Kappa Gamma teachers honorary and the Star City Book Club.
  Surviving with her husband are three sons, Joe T. Moyer of Lafayette, Lloyd William Moyer of Ohio and Douglas A. Moyer of Rt. 1, Star City; a sister, Alice Hayden of Marland, and four grandchildren.
  Services were Saturday in Winamac with burial in Star City.
