Alice Robbins (Reppert) - Class Of 1937

DELPHI -- Alice V. Robbins Reppert, 92, lifelong resident of Carroll County, died at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi. She had been in failing health and a resident there for one month.

She was born Oct. 21, 1918, in Carroll County, to the late Roscoe and Grace Wise Robbins. She was a 1937 graduate of Delphi High School.

She married Lee E. Reppert on her parents' farm in Carroll County on Aug. 24, 1941, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 2003.

She was a homemaker, and helped her husband on their family farm. She worked for a few years in the Carroll County treasurer's office and at the former Gerber Globe Valve Corp. in Delphi.

She was a member of Living Faith Church of the Brethren, where she taught Sunday school and held various offices within the church. She also was a member of Carroll County Farm Bureau and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed needle point, gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include a daughter, LeAnn Reppert Toole (husband: Robert "Bob") of Delphi; a son, John Reppert (wife: Brenda) of Camden; and a sister, Doris Maxwell of Camden.

Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Peggy Fife (husband: Paul) of Flora; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the Living Faith Church of the Brethren, 310 N 250 W., Flora. Service there Tuesday at 10 a.m., the Rev. Jeff Tomson officiating. Burial at Camden Cemetery.
