Edward Hufford - Class Of 1938

Edward Hufford, 61, Rt. 2, Monticello, died Saturday, June 27, 1981, at 7:30 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Hospital from injuries sustained in a farm tractor automobile accident. Born Feb. 6, 1920, in Delphi, his parent were Carl and Josephine Lane Hufford. He was a veteran of World War II and was employed by Alcoa and, farmed on Rt. 2 , Monticello. He was a member of Harry Bohannon American Legion Post 75. Survivors include a twin brother, Charles Hufford, Rt. 4 , Monticello and one sister, Mildred Shepard of Kissimmee, Fla. Graveside services were Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Odd Fellows Cemetery near Pittsburg with Rev. Richard McQuin officiating. The American Legion conducted graveside military services. Jackson-Strawn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
