Merideth Gene Kirkpatrick - Class Of 1938

  Meredith G. "Patti" Sears, 64, of Rt. 5, Monticello, died at 6 p.m. Sat., Nov. 3, 1984, in White County Memorial Hospital, Monticello, following an extended illness.
  Born July 20, 1920, in Allen  county, she was the daughter of Carlisle C. and Ruth a. Meredith Kirkpatrick.  Her marriage was May 23, 1943, in Delphi, to Richard F. Sears, who survives.
  A graduate of Delphi High School, Mrs. Sears had received a degree in home economics from Purdue University.  She was a member of the Monticello First Presbyterian Church, Kappa Alpha Theta sorority at Purdue, Tri Kappa sorority, Erudian Club and Mid-Century Club, all at Anderson.
  Surviving with her husband are her mother of the Veteran's Home, Lafayette, formerly of Delphi; one daughter, Linda A. Stahl of Minneapolis, Minn.; two sons, Richard G. Sears of Belle Mead, N.J., and Kirk P. Sears of Milwaukee, Wis.; one sister, Mary E. Lunquist of Pensacola, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
  Graveside services were held Tuesday morning at the Masonic Cemetery, Delphi, with the Rev. William Weckerly officiating.
  Memorial contributions were suggested to the cancer fund.
