Raymond Logan - Class Of 1938

Raymond E. ‘Bud’ Logan, 79, of Lebanon, died at 9:22 a.m. Dec. 23, 1998, at Home Hospital, Lafayette. Born May 10, 1919, in Delphi, he was the son of Clarence “Ben” and Olive Tribbett Logan. He attended Delphi High School and lived in Carroll County until moving to Lebanon in 1970. He was project manager with Price & Price Construction in Lafayette for nine years and then worked as a journeyman in plumbing and heating in Lafayette for 14 years. After moving to Lebanon, he worked for Freyn Brothers, Inc. He was a mechanical estimator for 12 years, retiring in 1977. A World War II Army veteran, he served overseas in the Third Infantry. He was a former member of the Delphi United Methodist Church, Frankfort American Legion, and American Association of Retired Persons.He enjoyed woodworking. Surviving are one daughter, Joyce Ann Weeks of Okeana, Ohio; a son, Ronald E. “Ron” Logan of Delphi; two sisters, Mary Barnaby and Edrie Busch, both of Delphi; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Services were Wednesday at Abbott Funeral Home, Delphi, with Rev. Tim Stewart officiating. Burial was in Morning Heights Cemetery with military rites by Delphi American Legion.
