Dale Cleaver - Class Of 1946

  Dale R. Cleaver, 76, of Delphi, died at 9 a.m. on Jan. 18, 2004, at his residence.
  Born in Delphi on Jan. 9, 1928, he was the son of Clarence and Lola Rohrabaugh Cleaver.  He was a 1946 graduate of Delphi High School.
  His marriage was to Kathleen Clawson in Pyrmont, on Feb. 9, 1947, and she survives.
  Mr. Cleaver was a self-employed farmer all of his life.
  He attended Battle Ground Bible Church and was a member of Farm Bureau Co-op.  He was a recipient of the Soil Conservation Award.
  Mr. Cleaver enjoyed singing, reading the Bible, biblical history, music, mechanical work and helping others.
  Also surviving is a daughter, Carol Maxwell of Bringhurst; a son, Gary Cleaver of Delphi; a sister, Helen Elrod of Wabash; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
  Services were today (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. at Davidson Funeral Home, with burial at Masonic Cemetery in Delphi.
  Memorials may be made to Battle Ground Bible Church.
