Mildred Dock (1946) married Robert Hathaway in October of 1949.

Mildred M. Hathaway, 75, of Bennettsville, S.C., died July 16, 2004. Born in Delphi on Sept. 5, 1928, she was the daughter of Louis and Ferne Rex Dock. Her marriage was to Robert E. Hathaway, and he survives. Mrs. Hathaway had been a beautician, and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Also surviving are two sons, Brian T. Hathaway of Gamer, N.C., and Doug E. Hathaway (wife: Allyson) of Irmo, S.C.; a sister, Dorothy L. Schmitter of Lafayette; and a grandchild. Services were July 18 in Bennettsville, S.C.
