Jack Good - Class Of 1946

Jack Been Good, 54, Rockfield, died Thursday, June 10, 1982, at 8 p.m. in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette.  He had been in ill health 11 months.
  Born Feb. 16, 1928, in Kokomo, he was the son of Henry and Hazel Emrick Good.  He attended Rockfield schools and was graduated from Delphi High School and Manchester College.  A former school teacher and librarian for Delphi High School, he also taught in Missouri and Illinois.
  Mr. Good was a former director of the Carroll County Welfare Department, a former probation officer in Carroll County and was employed by the state Social Security Administration.
  He was a member of the Rockfield Presbyterian Church; Mount Olive Masonic Lodge No. 48 of Delphi; Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Peoria; Royal Arch Masons, El Paso, Ill.; IOOF Lodge No. 301, Rockfield; Manchester College Century Club, and served as secretary of the Old Canal Investment Club.
  Surviving are a half-sister, Alice Jeannette Been Norton of Monticello; two stepbrothers, Howard H. Featherston, Libertyville, Ill. and Walter C. Featherston, Greenwood, S.C.
  Services were Sunday afternoon at Thompson Funeral Home, Delphi, with Rev. Allen Sager officiating.  Burial was in Rockfield IOOF Cemetery.
  Memorial contributations were suggested for Carroll County Cancer Association.
