Darlene Kempf (Huff) - Class Of 1946

  M. Darlene Kempf Huff, 78, of Delphi, passed away Jan. 2, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center, Delphi.  She had been a resident there since Dec. 29 and was in ill health since August.
  Born Jan. 15, 1928, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Paul and Margaret Long Kempf.  Her marriage was to Robert Huff in Delphi on Oct. 26, 1946, and he survives.  They lived on East Main St. for 51 years before moving to 607 North Market St.
  Mrs. Huff graduated from Delphi High School in 1946.  She worked at Peters-Revington Furniture Co. in Delphi for 12 years.
  She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Camden, and the church's Women's Missionary Society.  She formerly belonged to Psi Iota Xi Sorority and the Order of the Eastern Star in Delphi.
  She enjoyed traveling and cooking.
  Surviving with her husband are a son, Robert T. "Robb" Huff (wife: Debra) of Delphi; a brother, Tom Kempf of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mary Ellen Pauley of Avon; three grandchildren, Michelle Rogers (husband: Denny) of Monticello, Angie Finn (husband: Mike) of Plainville and Rob Huff (fiance: Kari Binkley) of Plymouth; and four great-grandchildren.
  A daughter, Marcia, a brother, Herman, and an infant brother, Joseph, preceded her in death.
  Services were held at Abbott Funeral Home on Jan. 6 with the Rev. Ed Selvidge officiating.  Burial was at Paint Creek Cemetery, near Camden.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Camden.
