The funeral of James R. "Jim" Wilson, 61, of Delphi was Monday at Horn Funeral Home in Delphi, Pastor David Futrell officiated and burial was in Delphi Masonic Cemetery, where Harry Bohannon Post 75 American Legion, conducted military rites.
  He died Friday, Dec. 27, 1991, at his Delphi residence.  He had been ill for three months.
  Born March 3, 1930, in Lafayette, he was the son of Roland C. and Fomosa Stonebraker Wilson.  On Nov. 17, 1978, in Delphi, he married Janet Clear, who survives.
  As a Korean Conflict veteran of the navy where he served aboard the USS Sutherland, he received the Purple Heart and the Good Conduct Medal.  He was a radar technician.
  A 1948 graduate of Delphi High School, he had worked in the mill department of Peters-Revington Mfg. at Delphi for 13 years and had worked at Zinn Kitchens in Flora and a a bartender at the Delphi Legion Post.
  He was a member of Post 75 American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and a former member of 40 & 8 Voiture at Lafayette.
  Other survivors are a son, Dennis of Rt. 2, Brookston; two daughters, Charlene (Sherri) Sacha and Andrea R. Clear at home; two step-daughters, Laurel Lee Rickey of Bradenton, Fla., and Jennifer D. Clear at home; a brother, Charles F. "Boots" Wilson of Greenwood; five grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
  A brother, sister and two grandchildren preceded him in death.  Memorials should be given to American Cancer Society.
