Wilma Haslet

Wilma R. Haslet, 48, Brookston, died at 7:25 a.m. Mon., June 5, 1978, in St. Elizabeth Hospital where she was admitted a month ago.  She had been ill several months.
  Born October 22, 1929, in Delphi, she was the daughter of Charles and Marie Haslet.  She was graduated from Delphi High School in 1948.  A Sunday School teacher and choir member, she was a member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority at Brookston.  She was employed as a teacher's aide in grade 4 at Frontier elementary School until her illness.  Her marriage Feb. 1, 1952, in Delphi was to Donald E. Hutson.
  Surviving with the husband are four sons, Lloyd of Lafayette and Daniel, Kenneth and Richard, all of Brookston, and two daughters, LouAnn Hutson of Mattydale, N.Y., and Cathy Hutson, at home.
  Services were this afternoon at Brookston Federated Church where she was a member.  The Rev. Stuart Robertson officiated.  Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery there with sorority graveside memorial service.  Thompson & Hartzler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
  Memorials are suggested for the Federated Church or White County Cancer Society.
