Bob Clawson

 Robert L. Clawson, 70, of Yeoman, died at 1:09 a.m. April 13, 2000, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette.
  Born Feb. 22, 1930, in Gary, he was the son of Raymond and Leatha Hamil Clawson.  His marriage was on Dec. 8, 1960 in Guthrie, Okla., to Barbara L. Luse, who survives.
  He had lived in Yeoman since 1932 and was a 1948 graduate of Delphi High School.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
  He worked at ALCOA in Lafayette, drove for the Indianapolis Star for a time and owned and operated Clawson Metal Shop in Yeoman for 30 years.
  Mr. Clawson was a member of the Monticello American Legion and VFW.  He served on the Yeoman Town Board since 1990 and on the Yeoman Cemetery Board.
  Also surviving are one son, David Clawson of Monticello; two daughters, Lora J. Brim and Kimberly A. Clawson, both of Monticello; two sisters, Carol Clawson of Yeoman and Ellen Holmes of Dayton, Ohio; and two grandchildren.
  Services were Sunday in Monticello with the Rev. Jerry Densmore officiating.  Burial was in Yeoman Cenetery.
  Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
