Helen Swain (Hyman) - Class Of 1944

 Helen L. Hyman, 76, of Delphi, died at 10:20 pm. on Oct. 28, 2003, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center.
  Born in Pittsburg on Nov. 7, 1926, she was the daughter of Frank and Bessie Boyles Swaim.  She was a 1944 graduate of Delphi High School.
  She married Robert C. Hyman on Feb. 2, 1947, in Delphi, and he survives.
  Mrs. Hyman retired from Production Credit, now Farm Credit, where she was a secretary.  She had worked for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and Carroll County Recorder's Office.
  She was a member of Delphi Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
  Mrs. Hyman enjoyed drawing, flower gardening, singing and playing the organ and piano.
  She and her sister were the ribbon cutters for the Pittsburg bridge ceremony in October 1935.
  Also surviving are two sons, Stan Hyman and Mike Hyman, both of Delphi; a daughter, Mary A. Burton of Camden; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
  She was preceded in death by her sister.
  Services were Oct. 31 at Davidson Funeral Home, with burial at Masonic Cemetery.
  Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, or American Diabetes Association.
